This blog is being set up to record our efforts to produce our own food. We recently looked in our pantry and saw that we had mushrooms from China, mangos from Thailand and asparagus from Peru. In a world that is running our of oil, this is absolute madness. So we've set a goal, a goal to produce over 50% of our own food. With no gardening experience at all, can it be done????? Dunno!

Cress
After the success with mustard, we hoped for a similar result with cress. It's popping up really well so far and some should be ready for eating in 2-3 weeks.
